Listed here are companies with a working website that shows at least one Mekong Delta trip on the day we checked. Within each group, companies appear in alphabetical order. A listing says what the website showed, not how the trip went; we have not travelled with these companies.

Day trips from Ho Chi Minh City
Most visitors see the delta first on a day trip from Ho Chi Minh City to the My Tho, Ben Tre or Cai Be area, by road or by speedboat. These companies have English-language pages for such trips.

Les Rives' page says the speedboat leg takes about 1 hour 20 minutes and that passport details are collected before departure, as local rules require.

Multi-day delta trips
Two- to four-day trips run as a loop from Ho Chi Minh City, or start in Can Tho for the far south. Most of these companies sell to Vietnamese travellers and publish in Vietnamese; check on each page whether a trip is a shared coach group or a private tour.

River cruises, including Vietnam–Cambodia
Overnight boats either stay inside Vietnam, usually between Cai Be and Can Tho, or cross into Cambodia to Phnom Penh and, when water levels allow, towards Siem Reap. Companies are listed by the name on their own website.

Water level decides the route. Pandaw describes high water from August to November, when ships can cross the Tonle Sap lake towards Siem Reap, and low water from December to July, when the last leg goes by road; elsewhere the same page gives August to October for high water. Its Saigon–Phnom Penh notes add that in October and November low bridges can block access to Chau Doc. Ask any cruise company which route your date will actually take.

Before you pay a deposit

Find the licence
Search the company on quanlyluhanh.vn, the National Authority of Tourism's database of travel businesses. You can search by name, licence number or province and see whether a licence covers inbound or domestic travel.

Match the names
The company named on the invoice or payment request should be the one holding the licence. A brand name on a website and a different legal name on the bank account deserve a question.

Check the revocation list
The same database lists businesses whose licences have been revoked and those flagged for violations.

Ask what changes the trip
Ask in writing what happens if the floating market is quiet, if water is too low or too high for the planned boat route, or if a festival closes roads.

When a listing here is not enough
A company page tells you what is on sale, not whether the trip suits you. A day trip from Ho Chi Minh City only reaches the delta's edge; it will not show you a floating market at dawn or the Khmer south. Long coach loops cover many provinces quickly, with little time on the water.

By the kind of trip first, then alphabetically within each group. The order says nothing about quality.
How does a company get onto this page?
By meeting the same criterion as every other entry: a working website that shows at least one Mekong Delta trip on the day we check. We do not sell places in the lists; advertising on the site is labelled separately.
How do I check a Vietnamese tour company's licence?
Search the company on quanlyluhanh.vn, the National Authority of Tourism's public database, by name, licence number or province.
Why do some trip pages still say Ben Tre or Soc Trang province?
Many pages were written before the 2025 merger. Ben Tre is now in Vinh Long province and Soc Trang in Can Tho city; the places themselves are unchanged.
